A whisper travels on the breeze, a tale spun from sugary lies and acrimonious truths. It speaks of a river, its waters glinting with the promise of ecstasy. But within its depths lurks a venom, a deceptive Molasses Catastrophe lure that promises glory at the cost of souls. They say those who fall in its current are forever lost by the river's hold, their lives forever twisted into a tragic melody.
When the Tanks Burst
On January 15th, 1919, Boston witnessed a disaster unlike any other. A massive tank filled with syrup burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that crashed through the streets like a tsunami. The flood, soaring to 25 feet in some areas, was horrifying. Buildings were flattened under the power of the sticky goo.
The aftermath was grim. Twenty-one people lost their lives, and many more suffered injuries. The flood also caused ruin to property, leaving a trail of sticky residue in its wake.

The city/Officials/Local authorities are working to clean up/contain/investigate the sticky situation, but until then, Boston is left navigating/scrambling/dealing with this sticky/treacherous/tacky predicament.
